Abstract :
This paper presents the problems of evaluating the damper´s performance of strap-down inertial measurement unit. Combining the usage of engineering it analyses the adaptability of SIMU in vibration environment and the effect of the damper on the system amplitude-frequency characteristics and phase-frequency characteristics, SIMU calibration and dynamic navigation accuracy and has relation demonstration test. The test results show that SIMU damper had a serious effect on the system dynamic performance, errors calibration and navigation accuracy of SIMU. Finally, the overall performance evaluation method of SIMU damper is proposed.
