Abstract :
Water supply enterprises need ensuring users´ service level of water distribution network when occasional accident occurs or the network is maintained. Partitioning is a means of optimal operation in water distribution network. There are valves between partitions. By the valves, we can adjust the regional network pressure. In this paper, with friction coefficient relative to the node pressure sensitivity, the more influence pipes can be determined, which located in boundary. By adjusting the valve opening, the pressure of water distribution network is adjusted. An example of application shows the method can basically achieve the operation in water distribution network. The method raises the service pressure, reduces the operation time and labor.
