Abstract :
The strong soliton interaction can degrade the system performance. For the ease of strong interaction between pulses in presence of typical receiver and propagation effects, we present a formulation based on bounds for the bit error rate. This formulation reduces significantly the computation time for evaluation of soliton system performance, compared with the Monte Carte simulation strategy
