Abstract :
We proposed a new image denoising algorithm that exploits an image´s representation in multiple wavelet domains. In the proposed method, local Wiener filter is used to shrink noisy image wavelet coefficient, while the trained parameter is used to effectively combine estimates from different wavelet domains. The proposed algorithm provides an improved noise suppression performance as compared to the relevant algorithms using the two-dimensional separable wavelets.
