Abstract
This paper presents an analysis and description of the implementation of some Rejecting Algorithms termed Function Elimination Filters (FEF]. The proposed FEF represents the structural properties of a signal with unknown parameters. The main peculiarity of these algorithms pertains to using the delay-circuits as the unique "building-blocks" to construct both an infinitesimal and an integral FEF. It was shown that the proposed filters can be used not only for rejection of a signal with unknown parameters but also for optimal detection of a known signal. From this it follows that FEF may be used in the ASK-system to minimize a total error probability. The signal that maximizes a performance criterion was found both for an infinitesimal and an integral FEF.
