Abstract :
In wavelet transformation used for image compression using different wavelet base has a great influence on the effect of image compression. In this article through analysis of wavelet base´s some characteristics such as orthogonality, regularity, energy concentric and so on, the influence of using different wavelet base to image compression coding is researched.
