Abstract :
Multimedia is a importance information object in IETM. Its application can enormously enhance the efficiency of IETM. So it had been a hot issue in the field of IETM research. The paper expounded the application of multimedia technology in equipment IETM from these aspects of types, request, storing and retrieval of multimedia. The research of the paper has some application values for advancing development of IETM.
