Abstract :
This paper analyses the feasibility of applying MC-CDMA to the cellular wireless environment of future generations of multi-rate personal communications systems (PCS). An efficient equalisation approach is analysed that incorporates a channel sounding sequence with each transmitted OFDM block. Simulation results for the system are presented using a Walsh-Hadamard code and an equalisation method suitable to a both time and frequency selective PCS environment
