Abstract :
Based on the actual machining process, the factors which affect the result of the turning process are analyzed. Then the machining process is abstracted into the mathematical model due to the properties of the materials and mechanics. By superimposing the affecting factors as vectors on the error sensitive direction, a physical simulation model of NC turning process is proposed and the implementation principle is introduced. By the VC++ language on the Windows operating system, the application programs are developed, the physical simulation system is constructed and the interface of the geometrics simulation is designed. The proposed model is a relatively complete physical simulation system, has the convenient and flexible man-machine interface and can predict well the machining results.
