Abstract
Ideal human-computer interaction is a key design index in a virtual assembly system, while the interaction between human hand and virtual hand is the most important and the difficulty is virtual hand modeling. The paper mainly introduces human hand model, virtual hand modeling technology and virtual hand interaction based on the 5DT data glove. A binary tree hierarchical model is used to describe human hand skeleton model and finger motion characteristics. The kinematics model of virtual hand is established by using D-H theory, and the geometricalal model is built by using skeleton, skin and weight factor technologies. A virtual hand interaction system is built based on Virtools, to verify hand gesture recognition and virtual hand motion.
