Abstract
This paper presents a flexible technique for generator maintenance scheduling considering economy-reliability coordination and the uncertainty of parameters. In this approach, the uncertain load pattern is evaluated by a fuzzy set. Also, the linguistic goals of operation in economic and reliability perspectives are represented by separate fuzzy sets. Under several constraints for feasibility of maintenance, the combinatorial scheduling problem is solved by the branch-and-bound technique. Numerical analyses have been performed on practical power systems to evaluate the robustness and flexibility of the proposed approach
