Abstract :
In a 3GPP LTE-A HetNet, high-speed users will be prohibited from being handed over to the small station to avoid the unnecessary signaling transmission and frequent handover problem. In such case, some event-triggered measurement report from user is useless and only a waste of resource. Therefore, we propose a useless measurement report suspension method to avoid the useless measurement report transmission to save user´s energy and prolong the batter life.
