Abstract :
This research presents the technology to introduce renewable energy into the local power system of rural area in Qira County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. Purpose of this research is to reduce dependent degree of local residents on conventional energy. The simulations are managed by System Simulation Device and Mat-Simulink, the introducible limitation of four renewable energy are considered by voltage fluctuating margin and actual situation of local power system. Based on this research, local hybrid power system may be established. The result of this research shows that renewable energy may cover 36% electrical load of Qira County, which implies big energy and environmental efficiency, it is expected to introduce the results from this research to other areas and countries in southern Xinjiang.
