Abstract
A Class E inverter model with a piecewise-linear (PWL) model of the MOSFET transistor is described in this paper. The dynamical model of the transistor has nonzero on-resistance and does not contain internal inductances. The output current of the inverter is assumed to be sinusoidal. The model of the inverter is given in the form of explicit, time dependent analytical formulae for its voltages and currents. Two examples has been given as an illustration of the model
