Abstract
Search engines are one of the most powerful tools in the Web world today for data retrieval and exploration. Most search engines identify the key word in the sentence or phrase or list of words given by the user and starts mining the Web for the occurrence of keyword in the Web pages. Quite often searching for the key word alone may not give rise to the anticipated results. Every keyword will be associated with the other words in such a way that the occurrence of keyword is either succeeded or preceded by some auxiliary words more often or the other. Mining the data along with such auxiliary words for a given keyword will enhance the search results further. Our project aims at finding the auxiliary word for a given keyword using the concepts of conditional probability and giving back the enhanced search results involving both auxiliary and keywords. The implementation is done in Java.
