On the application of corpus in data-driven form-focused English vocabulary teaching

With the development of computer science, the emerging of corpus provides convenience for the English teaching, especially English vocabulary teaching. But the existing research of English vocabulary teaching has been focusing on how to memorize words theoretically from cognitive linguistics perspectives. This paper introduced the method of the data-driven form-focused vocabulary teaching by concordancing and also explored and analyzed the effects of this teaching method by comparing it with the traditional one in an experiment.
