Title :
Global stability of parameter-adaptive control systems

Abstract :
This paper examines two relatively uncomplicated algorithms for adaptively controlling a single-input, single-output process admitting a continuous-time linear model wlth unknown parameters. It is shown that each algorithm is capable of causing a closed-loop process output to approach and track a suitably defined reference signal while at the same time providing global system stability.
