Abstract :
Power factor correction and suppression of current harmonic contents have become important issues in recent years. For residential and industry power equipment, it is necessary to take account of these requirements. This paper shows the versatility of the AC/DC power converter using observer theory with a full-order state observer and identification algorithm. This power converter achieves unity power factor and does not scatter harmonic current in the grid
