Abstract
The impact of the network has penetrated into all areas of human social life, especially in language teaching. From the perspective of constructivist theory, this article analyzes the characteristics of multimedia and network technology and the specific application in college English teaching, points out that the college English teaching model based on web-platform provides teachers and students a new means to achieve independent, selective, and interactive teaching and so as to improve the quality of college English teaching, and enhance the students´ interest of learning English.
