Abstract :
Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) relies on expert knowledge. In order to improve efficiency of HAZOP, this paper provides knowledge acquisition technique based on double-bases mechanism, introduces a definition of safety knowledge and discusses the framework and algorithm of HAZOP expert system.
