Abstract
We report three preliminary results in an investigation of the application of analog VLSI toward linear deconvolution, nonlinear deblurring, and noise removal in medical images in real-time. First, we use SPICE to simulate a circuit for nonlinear deblurring images known to be piecewise smooth. Second, we present a 1-D PCB realization of a linear deconvolution circuit. Finally, we describe a MAGIC IC layout and simulation of the feedback (convolution) part of a linear deconvolution IC
