  • Abstract
3S (Remote Sense, GIS, GPS) technology advances to the regional geological surveys have found widespread application. Especially the remote sensing geological mapping which integrate remote sensing and GIS technology. As the supplement and improvement for traditional geological mapping methods, it plays important role of the large-scale regional geological survey. Based on comparative analysis of DEM interpolation methods, the writer design the two-way mixed function interpolation which is used to process the DEM data accessed openly. It accuracy to match with remote sensing data. Direct3D-based software designed GeoModeling. It uses DEM and remote sensing image after processing to establish remote sensing three-dimensional landscape models, and uses three dimensional visualization technology to assist remote sensing geological mapping work.
