Abstract
Information sharing enables supply chain to achieve better performance, which requires close arrangements of the sharing practices among the partners. This paper analyzed that supply chain information can be classified as supply and demand information. An empirical study was carried out to analyze how information sharing practices interact with the operational performance and the differences of supply and demand information sharing practices between high and low performers. Based on the analysis, our paper indentified four types of information sharing and proposed suggestions to support the achievement of better supply chain performance.
