Abstract :
In this work we develop a simple method to study the effects of the nonparabolicity of the bands on the carrier states for a general nanostructure under a constant electrostatic potential. In these conditions we show the way to exactly include the nonparabolic corrections after solving the parabolic Schrodinger equation for a given nanostructure.
