Abstract
For most wireless LAN(Local Area Network), WPA(Wi-Fi Protected Access) is still the most common encryption mechanism. However, there is potential danger in the public wireless LAN using public PSK(pre-shared key), which could not be ignored. In such public wireless LAN, it is easy for members within the network to obtain other users´ encryption keys and steal their information. This paper analyzes the generation of an encryption key, the security issues and the solutions.
