Abstract :
TEAM-UP is a partnership of the US electric utility industry and the US Department of Energy to accelerate the deployment of photovoltaic (PV) systems and stimulate the development of a sustainable US market. TEAM-UP provides federal cost-share funds in order to significantly increase PV deployment. The TEAM-UP program is intended to help develop sustainable markets and provide the needed experience that leads to business opportunities for many of the partners. This paper overviews the results of these projects and reviews the various lessons teamed during 1300 system installations. Results from the analysis of the costs of small and large PV systems are included. The paper also summarizes information that provides value for the replication of successful PV installations, green pricing programs, and general guidance for the interconnection of PV systems with a utility grid
