Abstract :
Theoretical equations for dielectric piezoelectric and elastic properties of 0-3 composites are derived as a general solution based on a modified cube model using the equations from series and parallel models. Dielectric and piezoelectric properties of flexible composites consisting of a polymer and a single ceramic powder or ceramic powder mixture of two average particle sizes are investigated as a function of ceramic volume fraction and ceramic particle size or ceramic powder mixture ratio. Hydrostatic pressure dependences of these properties are also investigated and discussed theoretically based on a proposed model
