Abstract :
Slotted logarithmic antennas with ground planes are modified and simulated for conformal antenna applications. The antennas can be processed on flexible substrates. A slotted spiral antenna is modified as a logarithmic wide bandwidth antenna. A flat version and a curved version of the antennas with the same structural parameters are simulated to show that although there are slight modifications due to curvature of the conformal design, the radiation characteristic of the flat and curved antennas are similar.
