Abstract :
A novel planar dual-band antenna mounted on the side of the hand-held telephone case has been realised to operate in the 0.9 GHz and 1.76 GHz bands using two separate antennas, one for each frequency. The size of the dual-band antenna is almost same as the planar inverted F-antenna operating at 0.9 GHz.
