Abstract :
EM coupling of a thin-wire loop antenna with a 3-D body object is analyzed. Coupled integral equations and the method of moments are used to solve this antenna-body coupled problem. It is observed that, from the antenna patterns (coupled with the body), when the loop orientation and position with respect to the body are appropriate, improvement of the performance of a small loop antenna can be obtained.
