Abstract
Two ray tracing algorithms have been used in propagation models to plan wireless communications. The two models considered are the binary space partitioning algorithm and the angular Z-buffer. Using these methods, reductions in computation time of up to one order of magnitude are achieved in the propagation analysis of complex environments such as urban or indoor areas.
