Abstract :
The extended Fan sub-equation method is used to construct exact traveling wave solutions for a mKP-equation. As a result, many new explicit traveling wave solutions are obtained which include general soliton solutions, triangular periodic-wave solutions and Jacobi elliptical function solutions.
