Abstract :
As 3D surface points dataset obtain methods developing fast recently, 3D object visualization is becoming important. In this article, we give out a new method for generating 3D object surface mesh which is based on occupancy grids, after computing occupancy grids, we generate one point in each valid grid, and link points according to grids index. The experiments show that the method is efficiency and suitable for dealing with noisy data.
