Abstract :
A modified interpolation wavelet-based adaptive-grid scheme is proposed for simulating elastic vector wave propagation in media with sharp transition of physical properties. Here, post processing approach is used to filter spurious oscillations from solution. Finally a 2D vector wave propagation is simulated in a layered media.
