Abstract :
PZ-based pyroelectric composites with some PZNT compositions were studied to stabilize the temperature dependence of the figure of merit with a high value from an application viewpoint of the ferroelectric rhombohedral LT (Fα´)-HT(Fα) phase transition. The PZNT ceramic-ceramic composites with a multilayer-type structure were prepared by the tape casting method to improve the pyroelectric properties. The figure of merit was about five times as large as that of conventional pyroelectric ceramics
