Abstract :
An exact solution for the problem of Gaussian beam scattering from a semicircular channel in a ground plane is presented. Some numerical results are shown. The treatment could be easily extended to the problem of Gaussian beam scattering from the same structure loaded by a dielectric circular cylinder.
