Abstract
The calculation of the field strength received by a mobile station is performed considering it in a forest environment. The analytical results are obtained using a simple ray-trajectory model. The results show that the forest height, road width and orientation, as well as the mobile station antenna height, among others, are the controlling radio link parameters.
