  • Abstract
    A narrow band millimetre wave down converter front end has been developed using package~ HEMTs and waveguide matching circuits to achieve excellent performance at low cost. It consists of a three stage low noise HEMT amplifier and a HEMT mixer and provides 20 dB conversion gain and 2.5 dB noise figure at 30 GHz.
