Abstract
An infinite array of microstrip patches on a grounded dielectric substrate is numerically analyzed via the finite difference time domain technique (FDTD). The infinite computational space of the periodic array is reduced using the time delayed Floquet boundary and the perfect matched layer (PML) boundary. The numerical results for the input impedance are found to be in good agreement with those obtained using spectral domain moment method for an infinite array.
