Abstract
This paper introduces a new FDTD approach to analyze CCCS. The approach is simple to implement and efficient in terms of both computational time and memory usage. The approach can be used to analyze microwave circuits that include CCCS. In addition, it can be used to implement different non-linear devices using their equivalent circuit models. The numerical results based on the new approach show very good agreement with results from the analytical solution, which proves the validity of this approach. Additional examples of more complicated circuit topology will be presented at the conference.
