Abstract :
The dielectric properties of perovskite lead magnesium niobate (PMN) ceramics were studied as a function of the percentage of perovskite/pyrochlore phases and, in the perovskite phase, as a function of heating rate, sintering temperature, and excess/deficiency of MgO and PbO. The values of the dielectric constant of the samples prepared by two different methods were compared. The result are used to correlate the effects of these processing variables on the dielectric properties
