Abstract
It is reported that piezogalvanic effects (PZE) may have a maximal efficiency of conversion of light-to-electric energy. The causal relation between photogalvanic effects and pyrogalvanic effects and piezogalvanic effects can be found with the help of two new properties inherent in the interacting between light and LiNbO3 crystals: (1) generation of voltage following the shape of laser pulse intensity I (t ) and (2) deformations that do not correspond to thermal deformations
