Abstract
In this paper, the simulation of radiation pattern of the proposed RFID C-slot tag antenna on a coated metallic cylindrical surface is presented. It is found that the radiation pattern in the shadow zone (behind the product) from the proposed RFID tag is stronger than that from the electric current source case (electric tag). Thus, the proposed C-slot tag antenna is useful for the RFID application especially for the curved metallic surface product.
