Abstract
This paper is concerned with evolutionary ARMA modelling of randomly time-variant impulse responses. This modelling is applied to mobile radio channels subjected to multipaths and characterized by a time-variant impulse response. We present the principle of evolutionary ARMA models and derive a parameter estimator based upon an eigenformulation for the optimization condition of a chosen criterion
