Abstract :
We study a new energy efficient cooperative spectrum sensing scheme for CR networks. The proposed scheme reduces the energy consumption necessary for SUs to transmit their sensing decisions to the controller. Numerical results show that the on-off transmission scheme reduces the energy consumption considerably, especially when the sensing decision H1 is transmitted. Further research could consider how to solve the related optimization problem.
