Abstract
We present an evaluation of edge detectors´ robustness for different case of scene image. Our method, dedicated to stereovision, computes the wrong matched edges for every filter. It computes also the error on the evaluation of the well-known object distance. Early studies are based on mathematical tools for determining the performances of filters. Our approach is based on a realistic decision to choose of the most efficient edge filters
