Abstract
The complex software system often involves many subsystems or components, especially for decentralized software system, it often contains multiple services having similar functions, and there are mutual dependencies among these services. How to optimize system performance is an important problem. Coordination among services is a crucial point. Meanwhile, the complexity of software systems requires to separate coordinating entities from computational entities and to achieve dynamic coordination at runtime. In this paper, an endeavored service-centered dynamic coordination approach is presented. The system is divided into two kinds of entities: coordinated entities and coordinators. Coordinated entity consists of roles, actors and services. Coordinators are responsible for coordination among coordinated entities. The five kinds of service dependencies are proposed, including equ, contain, favor, prefer and select. The coordination algorithms are described, including selection and schedule of services. Dynamic coordination is achieved by coordination operator according to service dependencies at runtime.
