Abstract
The effects of six-phase conversion on capability chart´s voltage stability boundaries are studied. The investigated schemes cover six different cases of both symmetrical and unsymmetrical transmission lines. Considering light-load and loaded compensations, lagging and leading power-factors, and both three-phase and six-phase cases, numerical values and capability charts for critical values of stable voltage, angular separation and sending-end power for a long transmission line, are given
