Abstract :
This paper will introduce a system which can transfer arterial blood pressure wave into audible one, that is, sound. The system consists of three major components. The first is a 24 bit analog to digital converter (ADC). The second is data to sound converter (DAC). The third component is a high performance micro-controller which will control ADC, DAC and other peripheral or data processing if necessary. In current stage, we use a simulated arterial blood pressure signal as input. In the future, we will use tonometer to replace simulation signal. The goal of this research is to develop a simple device for diagnostic.
