Abstract
This study aims to address the interaction experience and behavior between participants and the artwork in interactive installation. In the study, an interactive installation, named as Mechanical Neurons, was developed and designed to interpret the process of human memory (from eyes to visual cortex), on the other hand, the image shown on the installation is composed of curve as if 2-dimensional texture of neurons of the human brain. Feedbacks from participants show that people were highly attracted by the visual effect, and were willing to show their interests and interact with the installation.
